Features

Initial Load Feature
Users can now mark up to five queries as "Initial Load," which will be automatically executed upon login. This new feature, accessible under 'View Favorites,' saves time by eliminating the need to manually execute the same queries every time you log in.

Favorite Page revamped
Favorite queries page has been revamped now where users can add the Query and give a specific name, check for the Initial load and provide the Limit and offset.

New Feature Alert - Query Generator
Using Query Generator users should now be able to select the table from the list and generate the query. Users can also save the query after preparing /generating and can use them for future reference.

ION API Secured Channel
This tool will follow the OAuth 2.0 security mechanism via Infor ION API which allows the data to be sent and received in a secured channel. Users can also add multiple authentication files which will be stored in cache within the Add-In.

Security Roles
EXCEL Add-In can be only used if the proper Mingle Security roles are defined. Please check the instruction page for more information

EXCEL Online and Desktop
This Add-In works on both Office 365 online version as well as the Desktop version of the EXCEL spreadsheet.

Receive Data from Datalake
This option is used to extract the data from Data Lake into the currently opened Excel sheet . While using “From Data Lake” one has to enter the query in the text box provided and also enter the name of the sheet which stores the retrieved data

Send Data to Datalake
This option is used to send the data from the excel sheet (either a selected sheet or All the sheets in the Excel workbook) will be sent into ION Data Lake. While using “To Data Lake” option , user will have to enter the Logical ID of a connection point being used (More details on this can be found from the User Guide). After entering the Logical ID , user can select either a single sheet or “ALL” to send all the sheets into IMS. Once both these fields are filled user can click on “Submit”.Once the Data has been sent ,user can see a display on the Add-In and also check “Sheet_Overview” sheet for more details .

Send Data to ION via IMS
This option is used to send the data from the excel sheet (either a selected sheet or All the sheets in the Excel workbook) will be sent into ION through IMS(Infor Messaging Service). While using “To IMS” option , user will have to enter the Logical ID of the active connection point being used (More details on this can be found from the User Guide). After entering the Logical ID , user can select either a single sheet or “ALL” to send all the sheets into IMS. Once both these fields are filled user can click on “Submit”. Once the Data has been sent one can see a display on the Add-In and also check for more details in the “Sheet_Overview” sheet.
