The Fortude M3 Data Mover can concurrently process large volumes of transactions in batches. For example, if you want to upload 100,000 historical transactions, the M3 Data Mover will arrange them into 50 groups, each containing 2000 transactions and start processing them parallelly.

The M3 Data Mover users can import data from two sources: CSV files and SQL Server. However, when an enterprise has to import millions of transactions, importing via SQL database is much faster than doing the same through CSV files.

The M3 Data Mover allows you to change the company and division to which you want to upload data. This way, users can upload data without changing the company and division assigned to them in Infor M3.

The Fortude tool supports uploading data via REST API and M3 Web Services (MWS). If you opt to use the API, you can download a CSV template from the application itself. For M3 Web Services (MWS), you can match the M3 program fields with CSV headers through an XML file.

Once Fortude M3 Data Mover completes uploading data, it shows you a comprehensive summary of the data upload task.

The Fortude M3 Data Mover allows you to test a data set by only uploading the first five rows of the dataset. This allows you to perform a sanity test on the dataset before uploading large volumes of transactions.
